Don’t forget to set your clocks back by one hour tonight! At 2:00 AM on Sunday morning, clocks will “fall back” as we end Daylight Saving Time. This means we’re moving from Daylight Saving Time (DST) back to Standard Time, giving us an extra hour of sleep.
Why does this time change happen? Daylight Saving Time was originally designed to make better use of daylight during the warmer months. By shifting an hour of daylight to the evening, it helps conserve energy, especially when it was first widely adopted in the early 20th century. Now, as we move into shorter, cooler days, we shift back to Standard Time for more light in the mornings.
Enjoy that extra hour!
Warm regards,
Jiri.
